Welcome to TypoTab®! By downloading or using TypoTab®, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please refrain from using our application.

Operator Information

TypoTab® is operated by Rico Beran, a sole proprietor based in the United Kingdom. All references to "we," "us," or "our" in these Terms of Service refer to Rico Beran as the operator and owner of TypoTab®.

Acceptance of Terms

By downloading and using TypoTab®, you confirm that you accept these Terms of Service. Additionally, you agree to comply with OpenAI's ChatGPT age restrictions, which require:

A minimum age of 13 years old.
Users between 13 and 18 years old to obtain parental or guardian permission.

Description of Service

TypoTab® is an AI-powered writing and content generation assistant designed to enhance productivity. The application must not be used in environments where AI assistance is prohibited. If users choose to violate such restrictions, TypoTab® is not liable for any consequences resulting from unauthorised usage.

User Responsibilities

Users must adhere to applicable laws, rules, and guidelines regarding AI-generated content. Misuse of TypoTab® is strictly prohibited and may result in account termination.

Account and License Security

TypoTab® licenses are purchased through LemonSqueezy.
Your license key is stored on your device. In the event of theft or hacking, users are responsible for securing their license keys. If your license key is compromised, please contact us at hello@typotab.com to request deactivation and issuance of a new key under these circumstances.

License and Intellectual Property

Users are granted a limited, non-exclusive license to use TypoTab® in accordance with these terms. Unauthorised reproduction, modification, or distribution of the application is strictly prohibited. Ownership of intellectual property, including derivative works created using TypoTab®, remains with Rico Beran unless otherwise stated.

Termination

Access to TypoTab® may be terminated under the following circumstances:

Upon user request.
If malicious or exploitative usage of the application is detected.
For violations of these Terms of Service.

Limitation of Liability

TypoTab® is provided "as is," without warranties of any kind. Rico Beran is not responsible for damages or liabilities arising from:

Unauthorised usage of the application.
Loss or compromise of license keys.
Misuse of AI-generated content.

Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

These Terms of Service are governed by the laws of the United Kingdom. Disputes will be resolved through conventional legal methods in the applicable jurisdiction. Where possible, we encourage users to seek resolution through mediation or arbitration before pursuing legal action.

Modifications to the Terms

We may update these Terms of Service periodically. Users will be notified via email of any significant changes at least 30 days before they take effect. By continuing to use TypoTab® after updates, you accept the revised terms. If you disagree with the updated terms, you must discontinue usage of the application.

Force Majeure

TypoTab® is not liable for delays or failures resulting from causes beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, acts of government, or interruptions in third-party services.

Third-Party Dependencies

LemonSqueezy handles payment processing and data management for TypoTab®. By using TypoTab®, you also agree to comply with LemonSqueezy’s terms and policies, which govern their services.
